Finally managed to get some poker in this week, nothing like the amount i would like but its a start and it was also a winning start. Wednesday morning i sat down and played for an hour or so on 4 $200nl tables as i looked to get back into the swing of things. After a couple of standard beats i managed to grind it back finishing a couple of buy ins up. Finding time to play properly is still proving a little difficult, but im slowly getting used to sleeping  for 30 minutes a day thus freeing up a hour to play! So this morning i used the spare hour to play a couple of $500nl tables, the session was going pretty good with me in a nice seat with all the value just where i want them: on the right with double stacks! Sadly the fun was cut short due to a betfair site crash, i was just short of a buy in up at the time so harldy the session of the year, but it was a win and they all add up come the end of the month!!!! As per the last few months im feeling great about my game, i know im in good shape its just a case of finding total poker time to play, no point trying to squeeze hours in as that just leads to rushed, unproductive poker. Im hopefully going to need 4 days of poker time next week as i head down to London for the WSOPE. A group of friends have once again put up the stake for me to play the £1000 event, its pleasing to know they still have faith, and it was also nice having to knock back a few of them as too many people wanted a piece. I do have my doubts though as to why they back me!!! Of course the carrot is the possibilty of a big pay day, as i keep telling them and the rest of the world, i'm so due a big result it hurts!!!!!! But i think most of them look at it as a win win situation, either they get a nice drink if i win, or they can take the piss for the next 12 months if i lose............i know some very understanding people! Hopefully i'll give them a good spin for there money, nothing surer my game couldnt be in better shape and you know what- im starting to feel like im real lucky too...............could this really be the year of the strum??!!!
