Well its been close to 3 weeks now and im still not back into the swing of the grind. Last night was the first time ive really played as i tried my luck in the $500 buy in WSOPE main event qualifier on betfair, with 10 x $20k seats up for grab and only 300 runners thus giving a massive $50k overlay (Got to say i dont think there as ever been such a badly run qualifying program in the history of online poker!). With around 100 runners left i got it all in with AQ v A8.........the flop 8 8 x of no real suprise to anyone!!! Still it was nice to get some poker under my belt and hopefully this marks the start of this years 3rd huge upswing! The real problem is finding the time for the upswing, the full time mentor job is what it says on the tin, ie a FULL time job, and with the missus still suffering with morning sickness morning, noon and night time is tight!!! im desperate to get some hours in and some $$$$ in as the WSOPE is just around the corner and im desperate to play in at least a side event this year. Im so sure that my game is in as good a shape as its ever been, but im not going to fall into the trap of playing on borrowed time, or playing when tired.................but i soooooo want to play fighting the urge is testing all my skills of will power, hopefully find some quality time, for some quality up swing and get the tickets for the WSOPE booked.
