Ive pulled back the loses of the gimp play on Sunday, so im now back to square one, a zero monthly P&L ! It feels great!!!! Been a really hard slog last few days with me losing big in the morning then spending all day grinding it back to small profit, but im not complaining small profit is aways better than big loses!!!! I played a couple of intresting hands, one that im sure i played well and another that i still cant make my up about. First hand theres a UTG raise from a real tight player, so tight its easy to put him on AK, QQ,KK,AA range, another tight player calls and i call holding 10J suited. The flop is  10c Jc 2h, UTG bets pot, so im sure hes in that top end range, the next guy raises and im now in a tough spot with top 2 pair, im still sure UTG is on QQ, KK or AA but im a little unsure about the next guy, after thinking it through i can only put him on a set and probably the set of 2s and i fold. The money goes in and they turn over KK and JJ and im patting myself on the back for losing so little with such a big hand. At the same time on another table im sat early position with JJ, a LAG player UTG opens with a standard raise which ive flat called next to him. The reason for the flat call was that on the button was a player who cant pass a 3 bet opportunity on the button, it was virtually odds on he'd bet the pot in this hand........he didnt let me down, he bets the pot. The original raiser now 4bets all in (big over bet, the 3bet was $70 and shoves all in $500), again i know this player pretty well and im putting him straight away on AK, my first instinct is to call, ive flat called so i can get the button to squeeze expecting to push UTG out of the pot then i re-raise, but now hes moved all in to spoil my original plan. But im sure i know where im at, hes playing it like AK and ive seen him do this before, i have to call.......but then i start worrying about the button, what if he has a real hand???? At the time i was a couple buy ins down and wasnt running to great so i decided to pass up the race and fold. The button snap calls and the both show AK, both miss. Now i know my fold is not a bad play, but im pretty sure had i been winning at the time i call...........but then  i did get most of the story right, i put UTG on AK correctly and even though i set the button up for a squeeze i did second guest myself that he did have a real hand, so i did play it right? Well like i said im still unsure! The more i think about it the more im sure that the decision was decided by the fact i was losing at the time, which in turn makes me keep asking myself was it the right play for the right reasons? Bloody hell even now as i write this im not sure if it was right or wrong!!!
