Wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Ive just spent the best part of an hour outlining just what a piss poor month its been, hows its not been down to badbeats or playing bad but more the case of hitting very little or having very good very second best hands that i cant get away from....................it was a real good write up, very informative and it also made me feel better too, and as i go to publish it the broadband goes down and i lose the lot, once again a big thankyou to BT! Well im not writing it out again!!!!!!!!! Bottom line is this month has been a poor month, not just vegas but online too where ive recorded my first losing month in five months. Its not the biggest losing month ive ever had, not by a long way but off the back of vegas it is one of the more diapointing lossing months. As ive briefly said, cant really blam the badbeats, and its not down to much bad play though i have had my moments this month, no its generally been down to getting it in bad which lets face it usually means your going to lose! No point moaning and groaning about how unlucky i am, how i keep getting set up hands, etc etc, bottom line is its called variance and its part of the deal so i have to live with it just like the rest of the poker world has too. So moving on, taking the positive out of a crap month, well instead of trying to ride out the variance at the higher levels where no doubt i would have done some real damage, i dropped from playing 10/20 to 5/10 and then to 2/5 very quicky, even quicker i went from six tables of 2/5 to two tables of 2/5 and six tables of 1/2, no ego problems here, if im running bad im going to do it cheap, so as of tomorrow its ALL 1/2 tables until which time the P&L graph is marching upwards. The other positive is im not feeling down about the bad run, in fact im feeling pretty pleased with myself in that im stilll smiling! I mean whats the point in stressing about it? Not going to change much!! In the original write up i spoke about a few hands a super super star player who has a VPIP of 98% (Yes thats NINETY EIGHT) played against me, cutting to the chase, he won two big pots of me, one with k4 v AK and then with 310 v my AQ, these hands we both 4 bet pre flop and i think they where the only two hands he won all day, in fact they will probably be the only two hands he ever wins! And i know your thinking 98% VPIP, piss of strummer you pleb, well i got news for you, thats he good stat! The trulely amazing stat that im still finding pretty hard to belief myself even though i was there as he played and that its here in front of me on HM..............playing 200nl, hes played 145 hands and hes..............get ready for this...............hes $3600 down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 18 buy ins in 145 hands, over 1 buy in for every 10 hands played!!!!!!! Fooooook me how can i get upset about losing this month when theres players like him about!!!! No value in online poker right???? My ***!!!! Roll on July, June is over, its time to move on and upwards- i loooooooooove the summmer time cause its strummers time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
