I know i said id try to post a least twice a week, so for this to be my first post in over two weeks..........well im turning into a billy bullshit!! But theres been good reason: Firstly ive had no end of internet problems, no wonder BT have just recorded record loses, as a long term user i can confirm the crap! The problems seem to happen when its wet and windy, coming from the north of England and living on top of a hill wet and windy are the weather conditions for most of the year!!!!!! Naturally no connection had meant ive struggled playing, no play no blog!!!! Also real life once again got in the way, no need to go into detail but i can honestly say life does really like kicking me in the balls! So the lack of play, a little bit of real life and then through in the anual Church inn race trip to York (Takes 2 days to recover, hense even longer without writing the blog) i hope you now see why ive been lacking in the blog department. Well the last few days have more than made up for the lack of news for the blog! The month got of to a flyier with the last two weeks being very flat for the above reasons................but then the last two days that all changes! Im slowly once again moving away from the 200nl game and starting more 500nl games, after going over my sessions its clear that my hourly rate is much bigger on 500nl so as im playing good it makes sense to play there. Saturday morning is generally a very poor day or a great day, never seem to have anything in the middle! This Saturday was no diffrent but thankfully this time it was a good solid winning morning session picking up a stress free $1,500. The afternoon session though wasnt to be and i felt the full force of reward the gimps day. Playing 1000nl HU i four bet KK on the button and get called. Flop Q 10 x all the money goes in i lose to Q 10, it was then pointed out to me that calling 4 bets out of position HU with Q10 is standard play and i need to live with it! Ok , no problem i can live with it........it was getting it all in with 1010 v AA a couple of hands later that bothered me!!!!! So good day turns into losing day. Sunday i some how find myself -$2,000 within seconds of sitting down and then spend the rest of the day on the grind, finally finishing the day -$50...............i hate days like that, but not as much as i hate days like today!!!!!!!!!! Everything that can go wrong went wrong! Money in bad i lose, money in good i lose, money in on a draw i lose, money in against a draw i lose, bluff i get call, get bluffed i fold, get AA three times in 2 mins across the tables i win the blinds 3 times, biggest fish on my buddy list turns up on my table, double up off me and runs, table reg turn up play 2mins i double him up then he gets disconected..........yep nothing surer today was a day to stay in bed , unfortunetly i didnt and ive taken one hell of a beating for it!!! Still ive managed to get away from the game before i lost 50% of my daily limit, so on the bright side even though its been a sick sick day ive still managed to manage the bankroll, and on an even brighter note im still well in profit for the month, which taking everything into consideration is one hell of a result!!!
