And another month comes to an end, and its another winning month! Yahooooooooooooo!!!!! Money wise it wasnt a huge winning month but theres good reason for that, firstly i was unable to get the hands in i would have liked mainly due to the fact i was pretty ill the early part of last week and then my PC/Connection played up for a few days at the backend of the week, so rather than playing 30-40k hands i managed just 26k. Then theirs the running bad, and my word i ran bad this month!!!! (ive tried adding my HEM graph for the month so hopefully you can see that, and see the all EV is pretty sick). But thats what made this month so good! I ran like a dog but still managed a good healthy profit, and thats all down to the work ive put into my game this year, the hard work is paying off! In days gone bye if i ran bad and broke even i'd be over the moon, to be honest i still think break even when running bad is good form, but this month to run bad and break profit, well thats a serious improvement for my game and my P&L. The hand sample for the year so far are way to short to start judging (around 70k) but i feel at the moment im really on top of my game and really feel that this year its going to be a good one..............................as long as i can get the hands in! And again another problem, im a full time mentor doing 8 hours a day and fitting in normal life AND poker life on top of this is hard, but no matter how hard it is i still feel blessed to be doing what i do! Saturday morning i tried getting as many hands in as i could by playing nine tables instead of my standard six, i managed to play 4,000 hands before my head blew off!!!! I dont think it will be something i will be trying again soon, its fair to say it was hard work, i also lost alot of my "game" and i think if i'd played just the six tables it would have been a good winning session, as it was it was a break even session, but a mental burn out one too.............how these kids get on playing 20-30 tables god only knows, but fair play to them! So too April and what a big month this is for me, firstly got the Irish open to look forward too but this is also the month where i have to earn my money for the WSOP, a poor show this month and Vegas could be put on hold, a good month and i might be out there for a month...............now thats a frightening thought, 4 weeks in sin city playing and talking nothing but poker..................yes, i wouldnt have it any other way!!!!!!!
