Well no real suprise that ive played very little over the last few weeks, its been a week of emotional swings and for a few days at least poker was put firmly on the back burner. I did still manage a few hours and pulled back $1,000 which taking all in to consideration is a bonus. The other bonus was the rake race on grandslam that i managed to win, so after missing the Irish open in 2008 im pleased to say im on my way back there for 2009! Ireland is up there for me as one of the best places on earth, and everytime i go back there be it for poker or the golf i always come away thinking how right theyve got it over there, warm friendly people, great drink, great food, beautiful country side, and of course the world famous " havin' the crack". After mulling it over i think winning the 2009 Irish open will be the perfect place to get my live record back on track, after all after the WSOP its the next oldest and most respected tournement in the world so what better place to re introduce myself to the live poker scene!!!!!!!!! Im looking forward to the next few months, firstly i cant wait to get back online and get back to the grind and earning some $$$$$, we've got the dream team final at the weekend which again im really looking forward too (please feel free to buy me a drink, i wont hold it again you), couple of weeks laters its the Irish open and then before you know it its the WSOP...........and as stated at the begining of the year this year im winning a braclet!!!!!!!!!! I know, im building myself up for a fall, but ive had so many over the last year i dont get hurt by them anymore!!!! So bring it on, and lets reach for the stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
