Well February is over and my belief in myself and my game is well and truely back. Six months of hell and self doubt finally put to bed, profit again, but most importantly taking a wage from the game again, my god its been a slog! So what are the lessons ive learned? Most important lesson is nothing surer, when you hit the downswing drop levels and drop them FAST! When the rot first started i moved from 25/50 to 5/10 very quickly- the major damage was done at 5/10 were i ran as sick as its possible to run, nothing surer i should have droped to the 2/5 game much quicker, could have saved myself a good $30-$40k. This lesson was put to the test last week, after a good day at 5/10 and 10/20 i returned the next day playing 2/5 and got it well and truely shoved up me!!!!!! I had trips no fewer than 5 times against flush draws, 5 times i lost. At the end of the session i finished -$1,000 (EV line i was +$3800), so obviously i wasnt running to good, since then ive been back at 1/2 and im not losing but im still running bad, but guess what? I cant get hurt!!!!!! I get my hands in, i earn the rake , im running bad and i break even , no stress, no smashed PC and no hole to climb out of!!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!! Im once again looking for a $20k plus month, i think the only thing that will stop me is my mentoring duties, over the last week due to group movments and new players my group as doubled in size which obviously means double the work............considering i worked 12 hours a day before the increase you can see i have a slight time problem, but to be honest i think ive sorted this- i spoke with god last week and i mentioned that it would be a good idea if we could have 30 hour days...........he said hed get back to me!!!!! Anyway the year of the strum is still well and truely on the move!!!!!!!!! I love 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
