Well i knew it had to happen, but not this bloody quickly!!!!! Accounts at badbeat are zeroed from 31st December to the 2nd January to stop any of us taking to the cyber felt when merry! So after the great end to the year im chomping at the bit to get back to the cyber tables. The morning session went acording to plan, 30/60 table with two of my new buddies, them doing there thing and me very greatful for it! Two hours and $2000 later im feeling very good indeed!! Then the afternoon session! Bloody hell, talk about a rude awakening!!!!!!! Same scrip as the morning session, a couple of my good buddies playing there super aggessive super gimp game, and me nice and quietly picking up the piece...............only thing is it didnt go to plan! The first problem was i was card dead, stone cold dead, in a short handed FL game you have to play a certain % of hands or your just going to anti away, so being seriously cold stone dead is bad, very bad. Next problem was when i did find a hand playable i was finding my fine freinds with either much better holdings or they had once again resorted to the finest skill of limit play, the runner runner suck out! It was a bad bad session, and maybe one i should have bailed out of much earlier than i did! $4000 later i left tale firmly between legs with me once again realising why i passed this game up 12 months ago!!!!  Still i know that these days are going to happen, FL is the sickest form of poker thus i got be ready for the sickness, i you know what, i was!!! There was no shouting, no swearing and no smashing of lap tops! No i took it all in my highly professional 2009 outlook and took it on the chin. Im sure i could have left the game when the damage was at the $2000 mark, but the standard voice at the back of my mind "its got to turn, look at the value"!! got the better of me, i knew i was in one of "them" games and walking away would have been the right thing to do. Still on the bright side i played as good as i could with the hands i had, the fish got the just rewards for playing there special way and thus will return, and im still well in front at the FL tables! The P&L for the new year is slightly in the red, but not $0.01 as been titled off, and in this game thats seriously good! Because im running a little cold at the FL i played a little $100NL this morning, again this to didnt go to plan! Two big pots , one with 1010 v 26 on a 224 board, the second hand i run my Q high flush into a K high flush! Still no real damage, the year not off to the flyier i wanted but the signs are good, my minds clear and focused, im playing good and im due for the hooooooooooooooooot streak, viva 2009 !!!!!!!!!!!!
