Finished November with a fine winning day on Friday, i say fine it was just three buy ins, but the way ive run for the last six months it feels like the biggest winning day of all time! I also came close to a nice pay day in the Grandslam ECOOP omaha hi/lo event. Nothing surer that most forms of poker are getting tougher and tougher, but i think theres still an edge to be had in this game, seriously the standard was shocking! The  mistake of most players seemed to be they were very willing to put all there chips in when DRAWING to just a hi or a lo, playing to win just half the pot while risking your whole stack is on every level totally wrong!!!!!!!! Anyway i preach too much! I finished 29th of the 500 runners and natural took it up the bottom. With 20,000 chips i was short stacked, in mid position i pick up AcAd3c7d an obvious big pre flop hand which is as good as it gets when short stacked! My pot raise puts 10k of my chips in the pot and im obviously pot committed to any re-raise, SB who has 40k decides that re raising me all in for 50% of his chips with As2s7s8d is well worth a shot, after all hes got A2!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And its suited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course his wonder play is rewarded by floping the nuts flush and sweeping the pot with it as there was no low hand- f***ing justice right!!! I actually lost my rag with the player and for the first time in a very very long time offered my advce and thoughts on his play...................why bother! Still its another deep run in a big tournement and again can feel that a big result is just around the corner. The only other ECOOP events i intend on playing are the FL (which i missed last week) and the $1k main event on Sunday. Hopefully though i wont be able to play the main event because i will be sat with a massive stack at the DTD deep stack £1000 main event! It starts on Thursday and is a four day event based on the WSOP main event structure, 20,000 chips and 2 hour clock , yum yum!!!!!!!! Aslo there will only be 100-200 runners , now that sounds like my kind of tourney!!!!!!!!!!! The end of the year is now up on us and unless i turn in a good solid month i will be looking at my first losing year of poker, something i really dont want to do! If i take rake and live buy ins into consideration im actually well in profit online, but as the missus as pointed out live buy ins dont pay the morgage! I cant pretend that i cant wait to see the end of this year, doesnt take a genius to work out its been the worst year of my life on every level, but ive got one month left and hopefully a great month can ease at least the poker side of this years pain..................remember poker gods i'm begging you, let me run HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
