If i told you i lasted 2 hours in a 3 day event you would have an argument in saying that i probably played to agrresive or too fishy. In the past this may have been true but not yesterday it wasnt! When i had my purple patch in 2006 at live events my game was built around solid poker. This year in the few live tournements ive played ive tried to go back to the good old days and play that solid game. To fuel the fire you need cards and for what ever reason ive just not been getting my fair share of cards. Yesterdays game was the same. In two hours i played five hands. Three of the hands were value limps for 100 and i folded each time after missing on he flop, the other two were a pot that crippled me and the hand that knocked me out- in both cases absalute coolers. Running cold isnt much fun, niether is driving 3 hours to play two hours of fold um hold um! On the positive side ive had two winning days on the run online!!!! Nothing huge just a couple of buy ins but its a start, all great journeys start with one small foot step- heres hoping so!!
