So the poker gods are having there quaterly "lets kick strummer black and blue" period. I do feel ive brough this on myself with the claim that Mansion may well be the softist site ive played (well it was for the first hour!!). Since running up a 10 buy in profit ive managed to donk of most of that last weekend followed by this weeks poker god driven bollox!!!!! If this post come across as a rant, well its not! Im pretty happy with the way things have gone at Mansion (Obviously my dumb play last weekend is not part of this happy feeling!!)- the fact theres seems to be a group of players intent on getting there money in as light as possible which includes never passing any draw be it a flush, straight, belly buster or even an over card! As for pairs, well a pairs a pair as the great Mr Jackson once said and my word the Mansion players were listening!!!! No i cant moan (seriously!) when the money keeps going in so good - just wish the gods would take a walk and go and pick on someone who can afford it! Go get that grundy fella!!!!!!!!!! Anyway im off to France tomorrow to spend the summer at Manuels home in the South of France- due to the constant beats from the gods im unable to aford a "real" holiday, so im taking the family to sleep in Manuels barn- hes told me it warm and there fresh water! What more could we ask for!!!!! Sadly its not a holiday holiday as i will be doing all my badbeat mentoring and playing over there but as ive said in an earlier post id much rather work in the french sun than the oldham rain - mid summer south of france sunshining and 28c, mid summer in Oldham its peeeing it down and is 15c..............i rest my case!
