Big swinging day going from four buy ins down to three buys in up that put me back in front for the month- i got a feeling the whole month is going to be like this. As per usual i took a couple of hidious beats but being true to my current state of mind i smiled and thanked them for there custom which inside the volcano was bubbling. For some reason i think i have a very lose image with one or two of the regulars- oblviously this can be a good thing when i have a big hand but not so good when making a bluff. One hand today summed up this image and showed just how loose im judged by some (for the record im pretty TAG but do like to move into LAG play with the regulars just to keep them on there toes). At the time of this hand i was doing a session with one the group and in this session he watched as i played with me telling him my cards and my thoughts. On the button im dealt 6h7h theres a cut off raise from what i would decribe as a poor regular who thinks hes good but isnt!!!!! His range is very wide and if he hits isnt letting go so i like to play lots of flops with him. I call the raise and the flop is 4c5h6d, he bets pot (this is standard his continuation bet is 100%!) and i call. Turn 3h- a massive card now i hold a straight with straight flush draw-he bets which means he has some kind of hand and i know if i raise he will think then call- so i pop it back to him betting the pot- he thinks and calls. River is a K and he checks-again i know hes got a hand, i know hes not going to fold and i know he doesnt like his hand thus i got to be in front so naturally i move all for around $700 into a $600ish pot. He thinks and as he thinks i tell the player watching he will call because he just cant pass to me-he does indeed call and his hand.........................A4!!!! Fourth pair on a board showing four to a straight!!!!!!!! Got to love um!!!!!!
