One of my goals this year is to go through the 12 months without smashing a lap top up. So far i'm on course....but only just! Not only does it still amaze me just how bad/stupid some players are, I am also still even more amazed by where they get the money to play so bleeding bad/stupid.

Now i'm forever struggling in the money department mainly due to the fact I have a house, car and missus I can't afford. This mixed with my inability to hold on to any amount of money no matter what the size for more than a week. But this doesn?t mean I don?t have a very healthy respect for the green dollar...because I do! I may struggle to save money but I do get full value for it when spending it! I never waste or throw money away. I work too dam hard for it to do that with it. So then how come there?s so many people out there who obviously have sooooo much of it they can lump $500 on a 10/1 belly buster draw that will if they do hit only pay them even money. And...when it doesn?t hit, and here is the real puzzling part, when it doesn?t hit because the maths say it only hit 1 in 10 attempts....they just click on their re-load button and another $500 to punt again appears and this time it could all be invested on a 4th pair with 6 kicker?!?!

But where does the money come from????

It's certainly not poker winnings! Some of these players have been around for years and yes sure, every now and then they run hot and hit for a few days but over time they are BIG losers and are doing their bollox in day after day. And very expensive bollox too!!!

Anyway, my conclusion is i'm obviously far far poorer than I actually thought and there are far far more wealthy people out there than I thought. By the way, the rich got richer today.
