During the late 1780s France was ruled by Louis XVI (I think) who was the reigning monarch. As usual in France, if there is something the people don't like they do something about it! The symbol of the republic was an uprising and storming of Bastille (a castle which held prisoners who openly voiced opposition to the monarchy rule) and to this day it is celebrated in the form of a public holiday - a new beginning, a revolution, a republic!
Sometimes I wish I had such a castle, a prison, to lock away all my naughty students who play when pissed, dis-regard everything I told them, break every rule in the book, but most of all, let me down. Investing time, a lot of time in some players then to see it go up in smoke is not nice. I go to bed at 4am or later sometimes, I am up early with my kids and make sure there have been no disasters over night, but sometimes still this isn't enough. Do we need a 24 monitor? I don't know, I really don't.
Monday has really hectic with my group, I got to play late on in the evening and won about 4-5k which was nice. But in all honestly it doesn't matter, what's on my mind today is how ungrateful some people can be and how much of my life I waste on idiots. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it hurts.
